Why is Paperback Writer so good ? Paperback Writer began with a fusion of Los Angeles based Top vocal talent from the national hit headliner tribute show The Beach Toys along with former top Beatle tribute show members to comprise Beatle vocal look and sound alike ability far superior to others !! Why is Paperback Writer different ? Most Beatles tribute shows are really only one player/leader simply calling whoever is available for any given show to "put together" a Beatle line up for your show. Sometimes the players are meeting for the first time just before your show, or not having the same rehearsed members over and over for an given show thus causing vocal part confusion, and clearly a compromise of the correct vocal parts resulting in a complete lack of vocal polish. When
we first entered the park, I heard "I'll Follow the Sun" and
I thought they were piping a CD of The Beatles through the park -- I
had no idea it was actually being played live by Paperback Writer ....
I am also amazed at that your show ventured out into songs like that
and "A Day in the Life", “I Am The Walrus” and
"Revolution". I guess I expected Beatles tribute bands
to stick with the early stuff.......so kudos to you !........................
